Guarantee, Policies and Information

 We guarantee in writing that your new puppy is free from genetic defects (that parents are clear of) for a period of 1 year from date of purchase.  If your puppy were to develop any problems caused by genetics we will replace that puppy with one like sex, and color at the first available breeding. No money will be refunded. Any claims of defect must be accompanied with a written proof from two different licensed veterinarians.
NuVet Plus is required as part of our health guarantee. Not available in stores, so call and order some today 1-800-474-7044; be sure to use Order Code 82139 when ordering.  

Our Aussie breeding stock is tested for (one or more of) the following with (one or more) AKC, Paw Print Genetics, Animal Genetics, InGen, Optigen,

We now have the AKC Puppy Protection Plan to pass on to our customers.
All puppies will be pre-enrolled and registered with AKC, only worry you will have is picking a name for your puppy for the registration papers

NOTE** California and Washington residents no longer get the 30 day free health insurance package with the AKC Puppy Protection Program.

A non-refundable deposit of $550  is required to hold the puppy chosen until weaning time to assure you that no one else will purchase that said puppy.  Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE and once your deposit has been received by Diamond K5 you are in agreement of purchasing said puppy.  If you decide not to to get said puppy your deposit will NOT be refunded, as stated NON-REFUNDABLE.

Diamond K5 accepts credit cards (through PayPal with fees of 4.6%); you may pay your deposit or full amount of your puppy with a credit card. PayPal/CC fees do apply at 4.6% per each transaction.

We accept Cash, PayPal, Venmo, money order (via USPS ONLY).   California Tax at the rate of 8% will be added for all non cash payments.  

Diamond K5 reserves the right to:

Make changes, including change in price, content, description, terms, etc. at any time without notice.
Make a prior sale (someone puts a deposit or adopts/purchases on the spot).
Cancel a sale (due to unqualified buyer, poor buyer record, legal restrictions, etc.)
Provide buyer information to a government agency where there is compelling indication of wrong doing.

Diamond K5 has the right to refuse a sale/adoption of any canine!
We also reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, and you agree to abide by the most recent version of the Terms and the Deposit & Contract Agreement Guarantee.

We will NOT place/sale a dog/pup to you without
first talking on the phone or meeting in person.
Only possible exception would be living in another
country and do not speak English.

Our Australian Shepherd dogs/puppies  or any of their offspring and so forth are NOT available for adoption as any other breed other than Australian Shepherd.  They are not to go into AKC FSS as "Miniature American Shepherds".
We raise "Australian Shepherds" in a variety of sizes, registered with AKC and enrolled in the AKC Puppy Protection Program.
Some may be dual eligible registration with ASCA, ASASC, IMASC, ASDR, NSDR.  

All puppies adopted/purchased from Diamond K5 are obligated and required to use the Diamond K5 as a Prefix to the Puppy’s Registered Name (Diamond K5 Puppy Name; ie: Diamond K5 Mossy Oak Cowgirl) and in some cases a second kennel name may be included.

Diamond K5 tries at its best to stay in the mid size range with our Aussies  of 16" to 22" BUT We offer NO guarantee on the size of your puppy as all sizes are possible.  ALL of our dogs are AKC Australian Shepherd and range in size from 14"-22".   

Quality will not to be sacrificed in favor of size.

Diamond K5 does not guarantee eye color.

Diamond K5 does NOT guarantee ear set.

Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE

Once the deposit is made and received by Diamond K5 you are in agreement of purchasing said puppy/dog.  If you decide to not get said puppy/dog you relinquish said deposit as stated above "NON-REFUNDABLE",

The difference between limited and full registration:
Limited is an agreement that "You" will have the pup spayed/neutered
at the appropriate age before a year old. 

Full is you are getting a breeding and/or show dog and guaranteed it will produce a litter. 

For protection of our dogs/puppies and sanitary reasons we no longer allow puppy visits.  Parvo and distemper are at a very high risk in our county as well as other contagious diseases throughout the state and country which are deadly to puppies.
